Lingosing! Market Entry

Lingosing! is a start-up business that provides nursery rhymes and music using grammatically correct sentencing as education and learning other languages. The songs teach various language techniques from greetings to conversation phrasing to sentence structure. The approach allows a fun and unique path for learning through the entertainment of nursery rhymes, but accurate grammar to grow literacy skills in writing, reading, and speaking.

In 2022, Lingosing! entered the market and required a visual language to communicate the values of music through learning. The market entry plan was an obstacle to attracting the public that affected sales, investment, and promotion of the business. The visual language required improvement as at the time consisted of incoherent branding across communication platforms. The visual language required capturing the offering’s service of education through songs and began with a logo design.

Early logo design concepts experimented with combining shapes of headphones, books, globes, and musical notes, which mixed the common elements of language, learning, and music. Revisions saw preference towards a concept of an open book with musical notes flying across the book. The sizing of the logo’s scale is difficult for small-scale applications, an icon was then developed from an early concept that involved a treble clef shape with a partially opened book at the tip of the note. The final logo and visual language helped settle on a brand image. Following the logo design, then allowed a consistent visual language for the market entry strategy which saw a redesigned website and new brand image across promotional platforms. The logo allowed engagement to communicate the business vision, offering and value, with the book as a symbol of knowledge and the flying musical notes as the service to assist growing knowledge.
