Lingosing! Application Interface

Growing up, children vary in learning skills and commonly the ability to learn, particularly with vocabulary occurs from the teaching delivery. The COVID-19 pandemic saw a major impact on education particularly a younger age forced to miss traditional learning methods such as face-to-face classes and social interaction. This niche saw a trend of music as a form of entertainment and education, especially during the pandemic saw a rise in technology and media as a method of teaching.

However, common existing methods such as cartoons and nursery rhymes involve grammatical errors and affect educating languages, grammar and punctuation to kids. Despite the methods providing great entertainment, it affects interpersonal skills such as learning, listening and communication. Thus, requires grammar to be taught at an early age, particularly social skills to ensure social elements can develop in the child’s future such as greetings, questions, compliments and celebrations.

Although music, video and media provide education and learning opportunities, require correct branding as a tool to communicate the two opportunities of recreation and entertainment. Lingosing! is launching an online application to allow users to access songs, courses, videos and lyrics. The design required a correct tone to best engage children through playful characters and a vibrant tone. The style allows engaging children in a visual perspective.

The design involved a home screen for the online application continuing from the market entry branding. The design involved animals and backgrounds from existing animations alongside the business logo and icon designs. The design allows entry to music, courses and videos to ensure quick access to entertain and educate the end-users of children. The application, in addition, allows a portable and convenient feature for different features such as applying in the classroom, background entertainment or free-time leisure. The design hopes to assist with improving social health and learning skills for children’s life domain development.
