The Easy Read Toolbox aims to assist with intellectual disability by applying layout design and usage of icons to improve learning. Each year involves regular icons to educate a specified theme. In celebration of International Dog Dat to celebrate the connection between humans and dogs. The set of designs was to communicate the need for dog adoption and the soft skills developed through raising a dog. The benefits include relieving a mind and caring for another individual which can apply to many areas of life such as education, social skills or studying.
The design involves communicating the essential needs such as sheltering a dog or reducing the wildlife and death rate of dogs in the wildlife. In addition, the regular experiences and results of the connection between dogs. Examples include improved organisation skills for dog owners because of reminders to take part in regular activities such as taking a dog for a walk or feeding a dog. As such the routine can improve great benefits such as improved memory or better planning skills.
